Coaches to share stage for ESPN show
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Mike Krzyzewski and Joe Paterno will meet on the same stage at Penn State to discuss coaching, ethics and other issues for a show to air on ESPN.
The network will tape the discussion between Duke's basketball coach and Penn State's football coach before an invitation-only audience June 20 at Eisenhower Auditorium on the Penn State campus.
The program, "Difference Makers: Life Lessons with Paterno & Krzyzewski," is scheduled to air on ESPN and ESPNU on June 30.
Former players for both coaches are also expected to attend. Organizers said the event would be student-focused, with questions taken from the audience. Duke students in Durham, N.C., will be able to participate through a video teleconference.
