The week of May 23, 1993, will go down as one of the most exciting weeks in Rangers' history. First, Jose Canseco let a flyball off the bat of Cleveland's Carlos Martinez bounce off his head for a home run. Three days later, Canseco convinced manager Kevin Kennedy to let him pitch in a blowout defeat to the Red Sox. Canseco promptly blew out his elbow and missed the rest of the season.
Wait, did we say exciting? We meant stupid. It's never been easy to be a Rangers fan.
