Special to Page 2

It was just another morning at Page 2 Headquarters.

Terrell Owens, Jessica Simpson, Ron Artest, Michael Jackson ... we had more than enough to handle.

BRISTOL BOB AND THE PAGE 2 CRUE

That is until the Page 2 editors saw a familiar face sitting outside Building B on the Bristol Campus.

It was Bob.

Who is Bob? Well, who isn't Bob is an easier question to answer. Bob is a musician, a poet, a singer, a prophet and also a sandwich artist at the Subway down the street, but that's not important right now.

Anyone who's been to Bristol knows Bob. He spends his days strumming his guitar and singing about sports. Bob -- or Bristol Bob as he has become -- asks for so little, sitting with an open guitar case with a sign reading "Rock Star Fund, God Bless."

While ESPN Security saw Bristol Bob as just another person wandering around without the required ID hanging from his neck, the staff at Page 2 saw more than that -- they saw potential.

After carefully studying P. Diddy's "Making the Band" (seasons 1 and 2) and a quick trip to Supercuts, Page 2 and the world of rock had it's newest star.

So join us in welcoming Bristol Bob and the Page 2 Crue for their premiere performance on the Page 2 Radio Network.

LYRICS TO "BALCO"

    Bonds, Jones, Sheffield, Giambi!!

    Lights go down
    It's dark
    The bulging of my head
    Will burst my heart
    I'm feeling so much stronger
    Than I thought
    My pipes are wide
    And though my soul
    It can't be bought
    My mind can wander.

    Hello, hello (hola!)
I'm at a place called BALCO (steroidos!)
I took The Clear but I didn't know
It was juice and it's something I can feel!
    Feel!
