The rumors started circulating the Delta Center about three hours before tipoff. "MJ got some bad pizza last night. He's really sick." "MJ wasn't at shootaround today." "MJ's not going to play tonight." When a pale and exhausted-looking Michael Jordan finally took the floor, one glance said the rumors were true. But after 38 points and a game-winning 3-pointer, Superman proved he could still fly ... even with Kryptonite in his back pocket.

Nick Anderson wore the fear of failure like a straitjacket. Orlando had blown a 20-point lead, but it still would have won Game 1 of the 1995 Finals if Anderson had just made his free throws. Anderson missed four straight over the last 10.7 seconds. The Rockets took advantage, tied the game on a Kenny Smith 3-pointer and won in overtime. The Magic never recovered and the Rockets swept the series. Anderson never recovered either. He was a poor free throw shooter the rest of his career.
