Jerry West
Gerald Henderson
He was glam enough to be the model for the NBA logo. And it didn't get any more glam than NY-LA in the '70s. Here were the Clyde-Willis-Debusschere Knicks going at it with the Wilt-West-Baylor Lakers in Game 3, series tied at one apiece. Knicks are two up with three seconds left, West takes the inbounds, a few dribbles then heaves – 60 feet and through the twine. DeBusschere collapses under the hoop in disbelief. (Too bad, Zeke: the 3-pointer is still years away.) Knicks go on to win in OT.

Havlicek stole the ball. Bird stole the ball. Johnny Most lost his voice. Gerald Henderson transported himself into the bodies of Celtics legends to help not only send the Game 2 against the Lakers into OT (which Boston would win to even the series), but eventually win it. It meaning the whole series in 6.
