Ndamukong Suh or Sam Bradford? Sam Bradford or Ndamukong Suh?

These men are widely recognized as the two players atop the board heading into the NFL draft's first round Thursday. The St. Louis Rams own the No. 1 overall pick and are seemingly leaning toward Bradford, the Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback from Oklahoma.

But Suh, the Outland Trophy-winning defensive tackle from Nebraska, has remarkable strength and speed for a man his size. The Rams have a difficult decision to make.

As a service to the Rams and their fans, Page 2 administered a trivia quiz to each player to determine unequivocally which would be the better fit for the team. Here's what transpired:

Round 1: True or false (five points each)

It's early. Both players are laughing. Unfortunately, it won't last.

Suh chuckles again, presumably at the ridiculousness of the quiz. Bradford, being tested separately, already appears unhappy about missing the first two questions.

"All right," Bradford says, breathing deeply as if he just converted a crucial third-and-10.

Suh appears to be getting annoyed now; perfectly understandable as the questions get more and more ludicrous. Still, we must press on. The Rams are 6-42 over the past three seasons and need to know how these guys handle adversity.

Round 2: Two-part questions (10 points each, with five-point follow-up)

We offer a gimme follow-up question, explaining that the exam should be at least a little bit reasonable. "I feel ya," says Bradford, happily taking what the defense gives him.

Upon learning Pace was the follow-up answer, Suh says "I should've known that." Just as Ohio State once promoted Pace's Heisman candidacy with pancake magnets to signify his flattening blocks, Suh appears to be ready to pancake us for asking him silly questions.

We should note that both Suh and Bradford received numerous academic honors in college. Suh has a degree in engineering, and Bradford has a degree in finance. They're smart dudes. … Too bad there's absolutely nothing intuitive about this test.

We told the guys the record-holder is still on the Rams' roster, and both think hard to come up with the answer. Suh says, "Hmm. I know Adam Carriker, but I know he doesn't have it." Bradford says, "See, now you're gonna make me feel bad for not knowing."

[Editor's note: Carriker was traded to Washington the day after this interview.]

At this point, both Suh and Bradford want to be anywhere else -- with the possible exception of a sauna sitting next to Rex Ryan. What exactly have their agents gotten them into?

Note: Suh might single-handedly break this record someday.

Round 3: Final question (25 points)

"All riiiiiiiight," says Bradford, perhaps realizing he just assured himself a contract with approximately $50 million in guaranteed money.

Or not.

Thanks to Ndamukong Suh and Sam Bradford for exercising a sense of humor throughout this arduous test … and for not using the quizmaster as a tackling dummy.
