Safer, cheaper, more versatile. NASCAR's just-introduced "Car of Tomorrow" is all well and good -- even though it doesn't fly (bummer).

Still, what about the sport's next set of car standards? After extensive consultation with racing experts, automotive engineers and leading futurists, Page 2 presents the future ride of the nation's most sponsor-friendly sport.

* (Note: According to a 2004 U.S. Census Bureau report, the nation's Hispanic population is expected to triple over the next half century, accounting for 24 percent of the total population. Good thing Lou Dobbs likely will be dead by then!)
