B.S. REPORT
Adam Carolla joins Bill to discuss '80s movies, improving the "Rocky" saga and celebrity softball games.• B.S. Report (July 22)
Bill and JackO discuss the Sox and Yankees, Vegas, the Steve Wilkos show, the ESPYS and plenty more television talk.
• B.S. Report (July 23)
Two news items that say a lot about the individuals involved:• Steve Bartman turns down $25,000 to sign a photo of the infamous play from the 2003 NLCS.
• Andrew Giuliani, son of former New York City mayor Rudy, is suing Duke University after being cut from the golf team.
First, kudos to Bartman for showing class and dignity.
As for Giuliani's claim that his chances of becoming a professional golfer are being unfairly compromised, we offer these facts:
(1) You were 12th on the Duke team in average scoring last season. Out of 14 players.
(2) In the two tournaments you were actually allowed to play in, you finished 60th and 36th.
(3) Just so you know, the PGA Tour heck, even the Nationwide Tour, if you're so inclined isn't full of golfers who finished 60th in collegiate tournaments.
(4) Consider that there will be about 15 million lawsuits filed this year in state courts, or one every two seconds. Aren't the courts busy enough?
(5) Save the money you're paying your lawyer; you may need it to afford the $2,500 box seats next year at the new Yankee Stadium.
