Super hot model Gisele Bündchen kissed me twice and asked me to "touch here and see if you feel it."

Gisele
New Yorkers would not complain about the driver's accent if Gisele were behind the taxi wheel.

OK, easy now, fellas ... you need some context. The kiss? European gesture to say hello and/or good-bye. The touch? Well, I'll keep the mystery alive there. But this was not some cheap beer ad with gratuitous girl-on-girl action. It was a good, clean Page 3 interview with Gisele about her film debut in "Taxi," the new buddy flick starring Queen Latifah and Jimmy Fallon which hits theaters Wednesday.

Now I was never a big Gisele fan. Yeah, she was discovered at the tender age of 14, eating a Big Mac at a Sao Paulo McDonald's. Sure, she makes more money per hour than makes sense to me. Still, I just didn't see what all the fuss was about. And it wasn't a case of "hate her 'cuz I ain't her."

But then I saw her live ... damn! She is a natural beauty: tall and bronzed with sharp, blue eyes, freckles, and long, wavy hair. Plus she's genuine and sweet, overflowing with energy and grace. Update: I am a full-on fan.

In 10 Burning Questions, the 24-year-old beauty talks about driving fast cars, riding the beach breaks, cheering on The Most Dominant Ever, and living life to the extreme.

1. Was it difficult to make the transition from modeling to acting?

It's completely different. You know everyone says modeling and acting are so similar ... they say it's so natural for models to become actresses because they use the camera. I don't think of it in that way. I think it's a bit harder because after you do a job for 10 years, you're so used to looking at the camera and have eye contact, and you're very aware of everything. But when you do a movie, you have to pretend the camera doesn't exist. It's the opposite. Plus you do press junkets and talk about the movie. But with modeling, you do the shoot, and you're done, you go home. And you don't have to talk about it.

2. So you play this smokin'-hot Brazilian bank robber in "Taxi." Sounds like a lot of heavy-duty preparations were in order, right?

(Laughs) First of all, this is not Shakespeare here. Of course there's no real preparations. And I'm Brazilian, so let's not take ourselves too seriously here ... and I had actually never thought of being an actress. (Movie producers) kept insisting and talking to my modeling agent about it. They were like, "Come on, we really want her in the movie, we can make her character Brazilian, she doesn't have to carry the movie ..." and I would never do that because -- hello -- I'm not an actress.

At first I didn't want to do this. Especially being who I am in this business, I knew people would be like ... I see what happened to others who tried to get into acting. But then I said yes because after 10 years of doing the same job, it was something different. I believe in taking chances and challenges and doing different things. That's how I live my life.

I shot for 10 days, and my character drives fast cars -- I like to drive fast cars! It was a fun experience. I had a blast! It would have been a lot more difficult if I couldn't have my accent. I don't take myself that seriously. I'm a goofy girl, and really a tomboy. Who (my movie character) is, you know, that sex-bomb? That's really not me. Really. I'm like building stuff in my house, doing construction in my apartment. You know, I go home and help the workers put the stones down. I love doing stuff like that. To me, the whole idea and image people of have of me doesn't really fit who I am. But I guess I'm doing a good job (as a model)! (Laughs.)

Gisele
Posing on catwalks faster than a, uh, bullet. It's Supermodel!
3. What's the real difference between a supermodel and the regular ol' model?

(Rolls eyes) I don't use that word ... it's like, what the hell is a supermodel? Are they superheros? It doesn't mean anything. To me, this always was my business. I see this as a job. It's my way of making a living.

How annoying is it to be asked if you eat real food?

Yeah, I get tired of people asking me that. There are some people who have fast metabolisms and others who have slower ones. People make it so generic ... they see you as a model and assume that you're dumb or anorexic. You know what ... I don't really care, because I know who I am and I'm very comfortable with who I am. To me, people asking me those questions tells me that they are small-minded. Just because you're a politician means that you are corrupt -- yes, most of them are, but you cannot generalize.

4. Would you consider doing more acting now?

I think (acting) is a very interesting business. You get to go from one extreme to another. It's very exciting and challenging. I love my job and am very thankful for having the opportunity of doing my job. I'm very happy living my life. If someone thinks I'm right for another role and I think I can do it, then I'll do it. If I don't think I can, then I wouldn't.

I'm one of these people that likes adrenaline and new things, like extreme sports. It makes me feel alive.

Extreme sports? Ah, so you're a Betty busting backflips?

(Laughs) I'm not a very good snowboarder, but I surf. But I dislocate my shoulder every time I surf. No. 1, I'm a workaholic. No. 2, I don't have the time ... I have never gone to a gym in my life. I never got fit for (surfing). I've always loved sports. I wanted to be a volleyball player when I was child.

5. Did you play competitive volleyball?

I used to train four hours a day until I was 14. I'm pretty good. It's pretty hard to beat me, I think. I mean, I'm not as good as I used to be. I'm 24 now, so that was 10 years ago. Now, I haven't really done a lot of sports. I have two horses so I jump, I've taken flying trapeze classes and I'm a certified skydiver. Every extreme sport you can think of, I've done ... I've jumped off of bridges, gone whitewater rafting. I love extreme sports.

The problem is, I'll work like six months straight and then have a week off. OK, so I have a week off, great! I get up at six in the morning, go hike with my dogs, go surfing and ride my horses. The next day I'm like this (sprawls out on the couch), and I'm like, "Ow, ouch, ouch." I'm all bruised and everything.

And the bum shoulder?

I dislocate it all the time. Here, touch here and you feel it and hear it. I go surfing whenever I can, and I paddle so hard so I can catch the wave and sometimes I forget about my shoulder and then it'll -- crack! -- pop out. So I never surf alone. I always have someone there to push it back in for me. If someone is not around at that time, I just put it like this (demonstrates how she uses griping her toes to pop it back in). And push it and it comes back.

Kelly Slater
Gisele would love to hang ten like Kelly Slater ... but without her shoulder popping out.
That sounds like extreme pain.

But it's worth it. It's worth the pain because I have so much fun surfing. It's such a therapy for me. Like riding my horses. I like to jump but I'm not that good at it so my trainer is always saying, "What are you doing jumping like that?" (Laughs) Everyone says that ... my parents are petrified: "Stop it, Gisele! You're going to kill yourself!" But I love it. It makes me feel alive. I don't mind if I break myself in half, it keeps me excited. It's so therapeutic. When you're on a horse or a surfboard, there's no cell phone, there's no one beside you. It's just you and the water, the waves. To me, it's heaven.

6. If you could trade lives for a week with athlete, who would it be?

I would like to be as good as Kelly Slater.

You're five-foot-eleven, what about basketball?

I love watching it. I think it's a great sport to watch but I've never played. I grew up playing volleyball. I love watching sports ... tennis, all of it.

7. We've seen you at the Laker games with Leonardo. How do you feel about the Shaq-less Lakers?

I love watching the Lakers. It's a fun and exciting sport, especially in the fourth quarter when you don't know what's going to happen. But I do think the Lakers are going to hurt without Shaq; he's the best center there is. I really wanted the Lakers to win and with Shaq gone ... it's going to be even more difficult. I'm mad that Shaq is gone.

Will you root for Miami now?

I actually have favorite players on many teams. I mean, I love the Lakers because I lived in L.A. so I figured that was the team I should be with. I love Allen Iverson; he's great. I love Vince Carter. Tim Duncan is really great.

8. In the movie, your character has some crazy driving scenes. Have you seen the finished product? Was it believable?

Taxi
You know you'd still like to be facing Gisele, even with the gun at your head and all.
When I read the script and saw all the driving and shooting the gun stuff, I thought, "I'm going to have some fun!" So when I got there, I asked the director Tim Story, when I'm going to do the driving scenes? (Laughs) He was like, "Um, you're not doing them." There's insurance and dadadada. I was like, "You have to let me do at least something!" So he let me do this really fast corner turn. They couldn't believe I did it.

9. Do you have a lot of speeding tickets in real life?

I love driving, but I don't have any yet. I got pulled over a couple of times. I got one when I was 17 and then none after that. And I think I got that one because I couldn't speak English very well at the time so I couldn't talk my way out of it (laughs). I think being a woman is good in that department. Hopefully God doesn't punish me now that I'm saying that and give me a ticket ... you know, send somebody after me. (Laughs) And I drive pretty fast ... I love adrenaline so imagine me in a car.

10. So, leadfoot lady, do you own lots of fast cars?

I don't ? I have a Lexus truck and a Mercedes convertible, but it's not the fastest one. I wouldn't even buy a fast one because I know what I would do with it. (Laughs)
