Special to Page 3

Pam Anderson
Earlier this month, courtside seats couldn't sway Anderson's attention from Stephen Dorff.
In Page 3's ongoing quest to bring you all that is relevant in the world of sports and celebrities, we present you with Jason McIntyre's reporter's notebook to keep you up-to-date with the latest celebrity gossip and sports.

Pam spam
Actress, and now clothing designer, Pam Anderson, 37, was recently spotted partying until 3:30 a.m. at Las Vegas hot spot Rubber with relatively unknown San Diego Chargers offensive lineman David Binn, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Keeping tabs on Anderson's dating is more difficult than figuring out how Maurice Clarett was selected in the third round of the NFL draft.

Last we knew, she was dating C-list actor Stephen Dorff. Is rocker Tommy Lee still in the mix? What became of the underwear model? Kid Rock, anyone? Her road to romance has been rocky, dating back to when Charles was in charge.

Boston's New Leading Lady
Move over Michelle Damon (we're not sure how you got there in the first place) but the Red Sox will soon have a new first lady.

After less than a year of dating, Boston's No. 1 fan, Ben Affleck, got on bended knee and asked ABC "Alias" star Jennifer Garner to marry him, reports FoxNews.com.

How smooth is Ben? He popped the question at a surprise 33rd birthday party he threw for his girlfriend in their Brentwood home.

One wonders if Garner cares that her ring (4.5 carats) pales in comparison with the rock he gave Jenny from the Block (6.1 carats).

In all likelihood, no, since the West Virginia-bred Garner doesn't seem interested in becoming a J. Lo-esque corporation unto herself. But let's hope she's more interested in Red Sox games.

Surfing: The toughest sport on earth
We know NFLers are tough. But the next time a player hits the hole, and gets drilled by Ray Lewis so hard it warrants mention from ESPN's "Monday Night Countdown" crew for getting "jacked up," check this out: CNN.com reports that this surfer fought a shark!

Relationship hex

Barry Zito
Barry Zito is 0-3 with an 6.94 ERA this season.
We've waxed philosophical many a time (fine, just once) about how Hollywood relationships have adversely affected athletic careers.

So when Oakland A's pitcher Barry Zito split with actress Alyssa Milano in the offseason, we could safely assume he would return to the Cy Young form he displayed in 2002, right? Wrong.

Zito is thus far winless, with an ERA that's nearly a touchdown (6.94). His next start is tonight against the White Sox.

Beware, USC fans: If the rumors are true about Milano's cozying up to Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart the Trojans may be in for a tough season ahead.

Lean Back
Entertainment feuds are all the rage this year – from "Desperate Housewives" to Britney and Christina to Steve Spurrier and Phil Fulmer to 50 Cent and everyone – the list is endless.

But here's one you might have missed: Roy Jones Jr. and rapper Fat Joe – According to the New York Post, the rapper disses Jones Jr. in his single "Lean Back."

Forget Paris
Looks like life isn't so "simple" for socialite Paris Hilton and her sidekick Nicole Richie. It appears the duo has officially split and the two are no longer BBF's (best friends forever).
