The rants, awkward late entrances into tournaments, outburts and head-shaking moments of disapproval that have created Hellmuth's persona on television have made him one of Hellmuth captured two WSOP bracelets and 10 cashes in 2012. He topped a strong field in the $2,500 razz event in June, then put on a show to win the WSOP Europe main event bracelet in September.

2013 picked up right where he left off with a final table at PCA, a runner-up finish in the National Heads-Up Poker Championship and a cash in the WSOP's first ever accumulator event at WSOP Asia Pacific.
