The story of a cash game pro turned successful tournament regular is common, but Aaron Lim's rise to prominence over the past year is simply incredible. The 26-year-old professional poker player is on a heater with a win at APPT Seoul in March, his first bracelet victory at WSOP APAC in April and a runner-up finish at the EPT Berlin High Roller in April. He also finished third in the Partouche Poker Tour main event in September.
Lim's abilities extend to numerous games, and he's looking to finally find success in Las Vegas. He has played in the WSOP main event three times and has been eliminated on Day 4 just before the money each year. He is currently 11th on the Australian all-time money list.
