With six WSOP cashes under his belt, Ryan Hughes made sure that the seventh one counted entering a very tough final table. Hughes won the $2,000 seven card stud hi-low event on Wednesday, earning $176,358. The 26-year-old professional poker player has been playing seriously for the five years since he left Arizona State University.

Joining Hughes at the final table was Brandon Lee (Two cashes at this year's WSOP), Doug Carli (31 WSOP related cashes since January 2005), and 2004 WSOP champion Greg Raymer (Two final tables, three cashes, at this year's WSOP).

Other notable finishers include Ted Forrest (10th), Jeff Madsen (25th), and Arthur Cobb (29th).
