Bridge to poker transition complete for Ahmad

Previously a tournament bridge player, Saifuddin Ahmad, a 59-year old owner of several Tony Roma's restaurants, has transitioned to poker and won the $2,000 limit hold 'em event which finished on Thursday. Ahmad has played in the WSOP the last three years, but had never cashed until this event.

Ahmad earned $217,329 for the win and had to outlast one of online's most well known players in Justin "looshle" Pechie at the final table. Pechie finished fourth earning just under $60,000.

Other notable finishers include David Plastik (11th), Rick Fuller (12th), Joe Sebok (14th), and Rehne Pedersen (24th).
