Praz Bansi was supposed to have had his second World Series of Poker bracelet by the start of this year's. He held the chips and a solid chance to grab the gold at the WSOP Europe main event in 2009, but the final stages of the tournament in his home country didn't turn out the way he would've liked. While he earned $594,963 for his third-place finish, a second bracelet remained in his sights. That coveted prize became a reality Wednesday as Bansi captured the title in Event 5, a $1,500 no-limit hold 'em tournament.

The 32-year-old professional poker player from London conquered the 2,092-player field to collect his second bracelet, as well as $515,501 from a $2,824,200 prize pool. The victory was Bansi's eighth WSOP cash, and he has now cashed in five straight WSOPs.

"I have not really thought about it yet, but I think this one means a bit more," said Bansi about which bracelet means more to him. "There are quite a few guys in the UK who have one gold bracelet. But two is a rare thing."

Bansi was the only member of the final table who had recently earned WSOP gold. He defeated Vincent "Vluff" Jaques for the title, but it was Jacques who will probably remember this achievement most as it was his first WSOP cash, earning $320,913. One of online poker's highest rated players, David "DocSands" Sands, finished eighth and earned $67,221.

Notable finishers from Event 5 include Dwyte Pilgrim (20th), Adam Levy (51st) and Dewey Tomko (98th).
