HOW DO I VALIDATE MY CHILD'S ACCOUNT?
You will first set up a "primary" account that is only accessible to a parent, guardian or other household head. Under this primary account, you can add up to five (5) additional family members, each with its own Member name and password. Family accounts are FREE and put you in control over what your child has access to throughout ESPN.com and its family of sites.

ESPN.com is required to validate your family account information before your child may be granted access to use the full range of services for kids.

The automated method to validate your family account information is for you to provide a credit card number to us. This is a free service, and your credit card will not be charged.

If you do not wish to use a credit card, you have three additional options to validate this information: (1) telephone, (2) fax, or (3) U.S. Mail. We will need to validate the information listed below. All information will be kept confidential and never shared with third parties without your consent. Information we will need to validate your child's account:

1) Confirm whether or not you are validating your child's account.
2) Parent's Legal Name.

4) Parent's email address.
5) Parent's Password or Hint.
6) Child's Member Name.
7) Whether or not this is a new or existing account.
