What the heck was Jesse Ventura thinking when he announced he would not seek re-election as governor of Minnesota?
Jesse Ventura won't be wrestling with the Minnesota Legislature any longer.
A. When he went after the job in the first place, he didn't realize how big a pay cut he would be taking from his previous job as a pro wrestler.
B. He was shocked to find that the governor of Minnesota has to pay for his own muscle-enhancers.
C. He hadn't realized how much being a politician would harm his reputation in the sports world.
D. It's cold in Minnesota -- even in the summer.
E. Being able to jump off the top rope of a wrestling ring and make a loud crashing sound on the canvas is of absolutely no help in getting legislation passed.
F. It was time to step aside and give Kent Hrbek a chance.
