What were Florida police thinking?

Page 2 staff

What the heck were the Florida police thinking when they stopped Dolphins running back Ricky Williams on suspicion of driving without a license or proof of insurance and with Chinese food?

Ricky Williams
Ricky Williams hit the ground (a little too fast) in Miami.
A. Not finishing a Chinese meal is a felony in Florida.

B. They figured Williams would be hungry again in about an hour, and then he might really cause trouble.

C. They grew suspicious when they saw Mike Ditka was riding shotgun.

D. Chinese food always makes it look like your car is going faster than it actually is.

E. It was part of Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt's subtle campaign to make the former Saints running back, who was arrested in February for driving 126 mph, feel right at home.

F. They were trying to help him fill the big shoes of former great Dolphins running back Mercury Morris.
