What was CBS thinking?
Page 2 staff
What the heck was CBS thinking when it approved a storyline featuring a father's attempt to seduce his daughter in the first episode of the "family" sitcom "Bram and Alice"?
Traylor Howard's new sitcom opened on a strange note.
A. "We never should've hired Woody Allen as a staff writer."
B. "We're trying to dominate the all-important West Virginia market."
C. "And you thought things were odd in the Voight/Jolie household?"
D. "Yeah, we know. It's the same plot as every old 'Brady Bunch' epiode, but just bear with us."
E. "This kind of gives a whole new meaning to '8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter.' "
F. "If anything's gonna make an audience feel good about their own family, this will."
