Prime Time Players for Week 17

Our Week 17 honor roll is led by two young quarterbacks, one of which helped his team win the AFC East. Among our other nominees are a pair of running backs, a tight end and a kicker.

We've narrowed it down to our top six performers, and now it's your turn to pick the week's Prime Time Player:

Daunte Culpepper
If Culpepper had the offense clicking like this in September and October, the Vikings probably would be in the playoffs. His 312 yards and 2 touchdowns enabled the Vikings to sweep Detroit and end the season with a three-game winning streak.

Charlie Garner
Garner helped prove that the Raiders are more than just a passing team. Garner had 135 of the team's 280 rushing yards in Oakland's home-field advantage clinching win over the Chiefs. He got Oakland on the scoreboard with his 1-yard scoring run during its first possession.

William Green
Green is a major reason why the Browns find themselves in the playoffs. He ran for a career-high 178 yards and had 2 touchdowns as Cleveland defeated Atlanta to earn its first playoff spot since rejoining the league in 1999.

Chad Pennington
Pennington threw for less than 200 yards, but 4 of his 17 completions were touchdown passes as the Jets routed Green Bay to clinch the AFC East title. Three of the four scoring passes occurred in the second and third periods as New York took a 28-10 lead.

Jeremy Shockey
Shockey has gradually established himself as a go-to-guy for quarterback Kerry Collins. Shockey went up and wrestled an interception away from Pro Bowl safety Brian Dawkins midway through the fourth quarter of their comeback win against Philadelphia to clinch a playoff spot

Adam Vinatieri
This wasn't the playoffs and there was no snow on the field, but Vinatieri reminded Patriot fans and teammates of that magical January evening. His 43-yard field goal with 1:09 left tied the score at 24-24. He then connected from 35 yards out in overtime as New England knocked off the Dolphins.
