What the heck was Shaq thinking?

Page 2 staff

What was Shaquille O'Neal thinking when he uttered the following quote to the Chicago Sun-Times: "Since I suffered the injury on company time, why shouldn't I also be able to get surgery and do recovery on company time? If a regular worker gets injured and sick on his job, do they force him to use his vacation time to have an operation and to get well? I shouldn't have to spend the whole year on the job. I deserve to enjoy some vacation time too, especially since I've been working overtime winning championships. & So, if I had to do it over again, I would do exactly what I did."

"My down time is crucial. I mean, who's gonna write the script for 'Kazaam Returns' ?"
A. "The next thing you know, they'll be asking me to sleep with Venus Williams and Cindy Crawford on 'company time.' "

B. "Well, at least I won't have to work any overtime this June."

C. "Blame Phil. This year, the book he gave me to read was a history of the AFL-CIO."

D. "... Let's see, what preposterous thing can I say to help people forget about that Yao thing ..."

E. "And another thing, I want time and a half when we play on Sunday."

F. "I'm a great believer in the Triangle Defense: (1) Open your mouth; (2) Shut down your brain; (3) Just let it flow."
