What the heck was Madonna thinking when she flubbed the lyrics to "Like a Virgin" during a live performance on MTV?
Memory is the first to go. No, wait -- self-respect is, then memory.
A. "I guess it's more than just my acting ability that's been 'Swept Away'."
B. "Like anyone watching MTV is even old enough to remember the lyrics."
C. "It's hard to sing with that weird British-like accent I've adopted for no particular reason."
D. "'Life is a mystery .. everyone must stand alone ... I hear you call my name ... and it feels like ... watermelon'."
E. "I also plan on replacing 'Holiday' with some old Jim Morrison spoken-word poetry I just picked up."
