Telfair plans to announce choice Thursday

Top 100 forward Shane Foster of Kenner-Bonnabel, La., has announced for Vanderbilt over LSU and Georgetown, among others.

Touted guard/forward Dwayne Day of Mt. Vernon-Montgomery County, Ga., has picked South Carolina over interest from Florida, Georgia, Georgia State, Mississippi, Clemson and Mississippi State.

Top 100 forward Charles Thomas of Jackson-Callaway, Miss., is set to announce between Florida State, Georgia and Arkansas.

One of the nation's top guards, Sebastian Telfair of Brooklyn-Lincoln, NY., plans to announce on Thursday (Oct. 16) between Louisville (expected), UConn, Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Providence, Seton Hall, St. John's and Syracuse, among many others.

LaSalle has a pledge from guard Richard Cunningham of Philadelphia-St. John Neumann, Pa., over St. Bonaventure and Siena.

Rice gained forward Patrick Britton of San Antonio-Southwest, Tex., over interest from Tulsa, Texas Tech, Stanford and SMU.

Tulane pledged center/forward Robinson Louisme of Fort Myers, Fla.

Houston pledged center Lamont Arrington of Detroit, Mich/Schoolcraft CC, Mich.

Louisiana-Lafayette gained forward Andrew Reed of New Port Richey-Ridgewood, Fla.

*Top 100 forward Al Horford of Grand Ledge, Mich., decommitted Mich; between Fla, OhioSt, Iowa.
*Top 100 guard Kyle Lowry of Philadelphia-Cardinal Dougherty, Pa., between Villa, Ark, Pitt, UConn and Kan.
*Guard Ronald Ramon of Dominican Republic/Bronx-All Hallows, NY., between Pitt, Prov, Rutg.
*Top 100 center David Burgess of Irvine-Woodbridge, Cal., between BYU, Gon, Lou.
