Smith selects Jackets over Wildcats

Jeremis Smith, a Top 100 forward from Fort Worth-Dunbar, Tex., is headed to Georgia Tech over Arizona, according to the Fort Worth-Star-Telegram. Among others were Oklahoma, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Florida, TCU and Texas Tech.

The Yellow Jackets recently gained Top 100 forward Ra'Sean Dickey of Bennettsville-Marlboro County, SC., over Auburn; Top 100 guard Zam Frederick of St. Matthews, SC; and Super Prospect guard/forward Anthony Morrow of Charlotte, NC. Top 100 center Randolph Morris of Palmetto-Landmark Christian, Ga., is also considering Georgia Tech.

Eighty-six prospects on the early Class 2004 Top 100 have already made commitments. List of remaining Top 100 Prospects.

Texas, Indiana and Louisville lead the early 2004 Top Classes. Florida State led the 2003 Top Classes.

Wright State has a commitment from forward Brandon Ivery of Columbus-Walnut Ridge, Ohio, over Murray State, Youngstown State and Toledo.

College of Charleston has committed forward Tavon Nelson of Baltimore-Lake Clifton, Md/South Kent Prep, Conn.

Forward Aris Williams of North Bethesda-Georgetown Prep, Md., is headed to Valparaiso.

Stony Brook has committed forward Greg Lewis of Florence, NJ/New Hope-Solebury Prep, Pa.
