Kuale, Alexander decide on Baton Rouge

The LSU Tigers have pledged one of the nation's top junior college linebackers in E.J. Kuale of Daytona Beach-Mainland, Fla/Georgia Tech/Dodge City CC, Kan; and touted defensive lineman Charles Alexander of Breaux Bridge, La.

Kuale, who started for Georgia Tech as a true freshman, picked LSU over Kansas State, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Miami-Florida, Arizona State and Florida. Alexander also considered Florida State, Auburn, Michigan, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee and Tulane.

Purdue pledged linebacker Dan Bick of Louisville-St. Xavier, Kty., over Indiana, Northwestern and Marshall; and offensive lineman Zach Smith of Cincinnati-Moeller, Ohio, over Boston College, Louisville and Ball State.
