Chicago junior selects Louisville

Huge junior center Clarence Holloway of Chicago-Fenger/Harlan, Ill., is headed to Louisville and coach Rick Pitino. The Class 2005 prospect was also being recruited by Illinois, Kentucky, Purdue, Florida, Oklahoma, and Marquette, among others.

College of Charleston gained forward Jermaine Johnson of Hacienda Heights-Wilson, Cal/NY-Trinity Pawling, NY/Troy-Redemption Christian, NY/Winchendon-Winchendon Prep, Mass.

Center Jabbar Young of San Bernardino CC, Cal., signed with San Diego State. He is a former West Virginia signee who will have three years of eligibility remaining.
