What was Billy Graham thinking?

Page 2 staff

What the heck was the Rev. Billy Graham thinking when he came out in public support of Mel Gibson's controversial Biblical epic, "The Passion of Christ"? (The film has been criticized by Christian and Jewish leaders, who say it suggests Christ's death is the responsibility of Jews.)

Billy Graham
Word is Billy Graham is also looking forward to 'The Return of the King'.
A. "How come nobody said anything when I came out in public support of 'Haunted Mansion'?"

B. "Mel Gibson has a long history of making movies that are bastions of Christian morality and history. Like, for example, 'Lethal Weapon 3'."

C. "And while I'm at it, let me also recommend my favorite old TV show, 'Amos and Andy'."

D. "If you know of a better way to get a cameo in Mel's next movie, I'm all ears."

E. "I liked it. I did. But I must say, I was caught a little off-guard by Danny Glover's portrayal of Mary Magdalene."

F. "Say what you want. It's still a better movie than 'Gigli'."
