On the list because she's the female LeBron. At 6-foot-3, she can do a whole lot more than just dunk -- she can score (20+ ppg all four years in high school), pass and rebound. Heading to Tennessee, she led Naperville High (Ill.) to two straight state championships.
On the list because she's been the premier pitcher in the world for a decade. At the 2000 Olympic Games, she led the U.S. to gold and set an Olympic record with 25 strikeouts in one game and compiled a record-low 0.47 ERA. Also plays third; at UCLA, led the nation in 1993 with a .510 batting average and a 0.25 ERA.
