I'll be doing quite a bit of driving on this trip, so I thought I'd provide a few tidbits from my time spent in the ol' red Pontiac G6
Drive 1: Wichita, Kan. to Omaha, Neb.
Distance: 384 miles
Time: 6 hours, 5 minutes
Diet Cokes: Two 20 oz. bottles, one large McDonald's cup
Song of the drive: "Brimful of Asha" by Cornershop. Forgot how catchy this song is.
Talk radio segment of the drive: Bob Saget discussing hanging out with the Olsen twins on the Howard Stern Show -- thank god for Sirius Satellite Radio.
Random thought of the drive: I cruised through Lawrence, Kan., less than an hour before Kansas and Texas A&M tipped off Saturday night, and I almost made a pit stop to try to finagle my way into the game.
