CLIP REEL: WRESTLERS IN FILMS!

"I'm thinking of remaking The Shining with puppets and tiger cubs. I've got Mila Kunis attached."

Get Smart comes out today (our boss says it's gonna be bad, but we're hyped). If the movie grosses big, which it may, it's another notch for Dwayne ("The Rock") Johnson, recent Entertainment Weekly cover boy. Johnson was best known about three years ago as a professional wrestler, a class of individuals that have tried often to make the jump to "cinema stars" and failed just about as often. Congrats, Rock! Take a look at the people you've left in your wake via Clip Reel.

Personally, we thought No Holds Barred with Hulk Hogan was pretty good. Here's the opening to that movie. Here's the famous limo scene. Here's Rowdy Roddy Piper in They Live. John Cena in The Marine. Steve Austin in The Condemned. Kimberly Page was in The 40 Year-Old Virgin. Triple H in Blade: Trinity. Stacy Kiebler in The Comebacks. Hulk Hogan in Rocky 3. Kevin Nash in The Punisher. Goldberg in Santa's Slay. Randy Savage in the Spider Man movies. Andre the Giant in The Princess Bride. Jesse Ventura in Predator. Hulk Hogan in Santa with Muscles. Roddy Piper in Hell Comes to Frogtown. Jesse Ventura in Abraxas: Guardian of the Universe. Kane in See No Evil. A ton of wrestlers are in Ready to Rumble. Here's a good scene from that flick. Ah, jeez. Hulk Hogan and the dude from The Jeffersons in Mr. Nanny. And just read this. And this. And also this.
