Another week, another important matchup for league founder Jerry Cantrell's JC Aroma Of Tacoma in the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League.

Fresh off defeating Scott Ian's Fear And Loathing 97-78 last week, the Aroma (6-3) squares off against Meat Loaf's Hell In A Hand Basket (6-3) in a battle between the two second-place teams. It's also a rematch of the Week 1 game that saw Meat Loaf manhandle the Aroma 144-83.

Besides solidifying its hold on second, the winner might vault into first if Kenny Wayne Shepherd's league-leading Team Re-Domination (6-2-1) falters against Duff McKagan's Team Loaded (5-4).

Just four weeks remain until the playoffs start, so we've listed in the box at the right all the charities for which the league owners are playing.

Defending champion Matt Willig won't get to the playoffs this time, but as mentioned last week he declared he wasn't giving up. After Willig's Halfway Clueless (1-6-2) notched an abysmal 29 points against Vinnie Paul's Team Brickwall Brickwall last week, Cantrell had this reply to Willig's message board post:

Participants in the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League will each put one valuable item up for auction by the end of the season. The league champion will get to designate which charity receives the proceeds of the auction. More details on the auction will be announced in the coming weeks.

Weekly updates on the Alice in Chains & Friends Fantasy Football Charity League, trash talk and interviews with the owners will be published in ESPN.com's The Life and Music sections throughout the season. Members of the league also will drop by for occasional chats on SportsNation.
