Each week, The Life takes a look at the hottest tickets in town in terms of StubHub sales and average ticket price.

Top events (based on number of tickets sold) from Oct. 10-19

The NFL held down seven of the top 10 spots on StubHub's most sold list this past week, but couldn't claim No. 1. That honor went to the Oct. 25 U2/Black Eyed Peas concert at the Rose Bowl. Game 4 of the Yankees-Angels series and a Las Vegas U2 show were the only non-NFL events to crack the list. A look at the top 10 for this category is below.

Highest average ticket price from Oct. 10-19

Although looking at the most sold data tells part of the story, these data tend to favor larger venues. To offset this bias, we also checked out the top 10 events based on the week's average ticket price for all tickets sold on StubHub. Despite not having venues yet, the Fall Classic jumps to the top of the list, and the NFL loses its dominance.
