WESTMINSTER, Maryland - The Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday agreed to terms with quarterback Kyle Boller, their second first-round pick, on a five-year contract.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

In April's draft, the Ravens traded up with the New England Patriots to select Boller with the 19th pick.

The third quarterback selected behind Carson Palmer and Byron Leftwich, Boller is expected to battle Chris Redman for the starting job in Baltimore.

Boller flourished under California coach Jeff Tedford's quarterback-friendly offense last season, completing 53 percent of his passes for 2,815 yards and 28 touchdowns with 10 interceptions.

On Tuesday, the Ravens signed linebacker Terrell Suggs, who was selected with the 10th pick, to a five-year contract.
