Spurs re-sign backup center Kevin Willis
SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Spurs have re-signed backup center Kevin Willis.
Terms of the deal with the 19-year veteran, who turns 41 in September, were not announced.
The 7-foot Willis played in 71 games for the Spurs last season, averaging 4.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 11.8 minutes.
He also has played for Atlanta, Miami, Golden State, Houston, Toronto and Denver, averaging 12.7 points and 8.7 rebounds in 1,342 games.
