WASHINGTON -- Assistant general manager Rod Higgins, the last remaining front-office executive hired by Michael Jordan, left the Washington Wizards.

Higgins and the Wizards agreed to terminate his contract, president of basketball operations Ernie Grunfeld said Friday.

Higgins joined the Wizards in 2000 when Jordan overhauled the team's management. Owner Abe Pollin overhauled the front office again this year, getting rid of Jordan in May and hiring Grunfeld in June.
