PROVO, Utah -- Brigham Young's home game against Boise State has been pushed up to Oct. 30 from Oct. 31.
ESPN recently contacted both schools to see if each would approve switching from Friday night to Thursday and be televised on ESPN instead of ESPN2.
"Initially, we were a little reluctant to play a home game on Halloween night," BYU athletic director Val Hale said Monday. "When ESPN asked if we would be willing to play on Thursday, instead of Friday, we jumped at the chance."
Game time is slated for 5:30 p.m. MST at LaVell Edwards Stadium.
