MSU-Billings names finalists for women's job

BILLINGS, Mont. -- Montana State-Billings has named five finalists to be the next head coach of the women's basketball program.

The five are Tara Kerklau, head women's basketball coach at Dickinson State; Kevin Dobbs, former women's basketball coach at Black Hills State, Kevin Woodin, head girls basketball coach for Billings West High School; Chanda Rigby, head coach at Holmes Community College in Mississippi and Melissa Stone, former head coach for the College of Charleston in South Carolina.

The Yellowjackets' new coach will replace Karyn Ridgeway, who resigned this summer after three seasons.

Kerklau has been the head coach at Dickinson State for four seasons, posting records of 11-18, 11-17, 21-8 and 28-6. This year's team reached the Elite Eight of the NAIA Division I national tournament and finished fifth in the nation.
