Timberwolves announce preseason schedule
MINNEAPOLIS -- Two games at Target Center are included in the Minnesota Timberwolves' preseason schedule this season.
The team released its eight-game exhibition schedule Thursday. After opening against the Milwaukee Bucks in Columbus, Ohio, on Oct. 9, the Wolves travel to Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks on Oct. 11.
After facing the Atlanta Hawks (Oct. 13) and the Toronto Raptors (Oct. 15) at sites to be determined, Minnesota will travel to Indianapolis to play the Pacers on Oct. 17. They also play the Boston Celtics in Boston on Oct. 22.
The Wolves, entering their 15th season of NBA competition, open the 2003-04 season at home Oct. 20 against the Bucks. The Wolves will also face the Pacers at the Target Center on Oct. 23.
