76ers sign Willie Green, Kyle Korver

PHILADELPHIA -- Willie Green and Kyle Korver, both second-round selections in the 2003 NBA draft, have signed with the 76ers.

Green, selected by Seattle with the 41st pick and traded to Philadelphia for Paccelis Morlende, averaged 22.6 points per game his senior season at the University of Detroit Mercy.

Korver, selected by New Jersey with the 51st pick, was traded to the Sixers for $125,000 on draft night. The 6-7, 220-pound Korver averaged 14.1 points per game in his four years at Creighton.

The 76ers on Friday waived Efthimios Rentzias, a native of Greece who was originally drafted by Denver in 1996.
