Reserve fullback Adams quits team
HATTIESBURG, Miss. -- Southern Mississippi fullback Steel Adams has left the team, coach Jeff Bower said Sunday.
Adams, 20, is a sophomore from LaPlace, La. Last year, he was a reserve running back for the Golden Eagles, and he was expected to be the No. 3 fullback this year.
Adams left the team because it was unlikely he would see more playing time, Bower said.
