Eddie House signs with Clippers

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers signed free-agent guards Eddie House and Marcus Hatten on Wednesday.

House averaged 7.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 18.6 minutes in 55 games for the Miami Heat last season -- his third in the NBA.

The 37th overall selection in the 2000 draft after playing at Arizona State, House has averaged 7.0 points, 1.6 assists and 1.5 rebounds in his career.

Hatten, who wasn't picked in the NBA draft in June, averaged 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists last season as a senior at St. John's. He also averaged 8.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists in seven games last month for the Clippers' summer league team.
