Bucks hire Jim Todd as assistant
MILWAUKEE -- Jim Todd, a former Milwaukee Bucks assistant under Chris Ford, will serve on new coach Terry Porter's staff.
Todd, 51, joins holdover Sam Mitchell and Mike Schuler, who was hired this week. Porter was hired last month to replace George Karl.
Todd worked for Ford from 1996-98 and followed Ford to the Los Angeles Clippers in 1998. He was hired as interim head coach of the Clippers on Feb. 3, 2000. In 2001-02, he was an assistant at DePaul.
Last season, he served as a coaching consultant for the Bucks.
