Jones returns to contact practice
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida State tailback Greg Jones saw his first contact in practice Friday since suffering a season-ending knee injury last November.
Jones, who led the Atlantic Coast Conference in yards rushing per game last season despite missing the Seminoles' final five games, participated in a short scrimmage session at the end of practice.
Jones tore a ligament in his right knee against Wake Forest.
Backup tailback Lorenzo Booker also returned to contact drills after spraining his left ankle early in the week. Also, sophomore defensive end Willie Jones will miss the rest of the season after an MRI revealed he ruptured an Achilles' tendon during Thursday's practice.
