Bulls sign Kendall Gill
CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls signed free agent guard Kendall Gill on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-5 guard has played 13 seasons, averaging nearly 14 points and four rebounds a game during his career. He played with the Minnesota Timberwolves last season, averaging nearly eight points and three rebounds a game.
Bulls operations chief John Paxson said the 35-year-old Gill is the type of player that will help the young team.
"He has an unbelievable workout regimen which has afforded him a lot of success over his 13 years in this league," Paxson said.
Gill, who attended Illinois, was chosen by the Charlotte Hornets in the first round of the 1990 draft.
