Every Gopher game to be televised in 2003-04
MINNEAPOLIS -- Television viewers will have plenty of chances to see the Minnesota men's basketball team this season.
The Gophers released their 2003-04 schedule on Wednesday. Every game will be televised; at least four will be nationally.
Minnesota will make at least two appearances on ESPN -- Jan. 1 at Texas Tech and Jan. 13 against Iowa. ESPN2 will feature Minnesota's Big Ten-ACC Challenge game at Virginia. The Gophers also will host conference rival Illinois in their lone CBS appearance.
Minnesota opens the regular season Nov. 17 against Missouri-Kansas City at Williams Area in the first round of the preseason NIT. If they win that game, their second-round game would be televised on ESPN.
Other games, including a Dec. 29 home game against Nebraska, will be televised as part of ESPN's regional or local package on Victory Sports Network. The Gophers haven't had every game televised since the 2000-2001.
