Lakers sign free agent C Chenowith
LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Lakers signed free agent center Eric Chenowith on Thursday.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Chenowith spent the last two seasons in the National Basketball Developmental League, playing for teams in Greenville, Huntsville and Roanoke. He played with the Lakers' summer league team, averaging 8.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in seven games.
The Lakers have signed two NBDL products this summer, inking guard Ime Udoka last week.
Chenowith played collegiately at Kansas, where he averaged 9.2 points and 6.7 rebounds in 139 games.
