Penguins sign goaltender Andy Chiodo
PITTSBURGH -- The Penguins signed goaltender Andy Chiodo, the team's seventh-round draft pick, on Thursday.
Chiodo was 26-18-6 last season, third best in the Ontario Hockey League. He tied for fifth with a .915 save percentage in 57 games with Toronto-St. Michael's. He was 58-40-14 from 2000-2003.
Chiodo was 10-8 with a 3.29 goals against average and had one shutout in the playoffs.
