Cavaliers to take training camp road trip
The Cavaliers open camp Sept. 30 at Gund Arena, but after four days will travel to the University of Toledo for four days of practice, including an Oct. 5 intrasquad scrimmage that's open to the public.
"We feel like this is a good way to help the team focus and bond together," Cavaliers coach Paul Silas said. "It will be a good experience for our guys to spend time together in Toledo, and then be able to get settled in at Gund Arena as well."
The Cavaliers will return to Gund Arena for the remainder of camp after two preseason games Oct. 7 at Detroit and Oct. 8 against Atlanta in Asheville, N.C.
