Arkansas State receiver Vincent doubtful for Texas A&M opener
JONESBORO Ark. -- Arkansas State started off Tuesday's workout a little slow because of the heat, but soon picked up the tempo as the Indians prepared for Saturday's opener at Texas A&M.
"It was awful hot and we started off a little bit slow," coach Steve Roberts said. "But it wasn't bad. These guys really responded, and we got a lot of work done today."
Trainer Ron Carroll said receiver Gary Vincent was doubtful for Saturday after sustaining a twisted knee during practice. Carroll said Vincent will undergo further evaluation.
Linebacker David Vargas (ankle) and defensive back Lamar Lee (foot) are listed as questionable.
Kickoff Saturday is at 7 p.m. in College Station, Texas.
