Razorbacks focus on running game
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Coming off a two-day hiatus, the Razorbacks greeted humid, 100-degree weather as they focused on the running game in drills Tuesday.
"We had more work on the running game today," coach Houston Nutt said. "We worked on first-and-10 situations and on coming off the line of scrimmage. We really tried to polish the running game today."
"Having two days off probably had something to do with their inconsistency today," Nutt said. "We need them to put it together for 60 minutes and you get that from being consistent in practice."
The Razorbacks return to the practice fields Wednesday in preparation for next Saturday's opener against Tulsa.
